Whitney Studio

Whitney Studio is primarily me, John Whitney. We are also a collection of highly talented professionals that have worked together for years in order to meet the unique production and presentation challenges. The design driven process starts and ends with our clients' needs and goals. We work hard to maintain clear communication, fast response and accurate budgets to create the best possible outcome - with no surprises.

I am a multi-disciplinary communicator with a focus on impactful information design.  My mission is understanding our client's unique challenges and goals. From there we work collaboratively to create accessible, understandable and actionable tools. Prior to forming Whitney Studio, I was a Managing Director at FTI Consulting as a member of the Trial Services group in the Forensic & Litigation Consulting segment and was President / Founder at Think Twice Legal where, for more than 20 years I helped many of the nation's most accomplished litigators explain their stories in a concise and impactful manner. My experience includes trials, hearings, arbitrations, and mediations, as well as regulatory proceedings. I am accomplished at delivering strategically creative and unique solutions across platforms and media types in both domestic and international settings.  Additionally, I bring years of corporate communications and design experience for companies that include eBay, Prime Healthcare, Vaughan Nelson, Pingora Asset Management, and Adobe. 

Personally, when not at the drawing board, I love spending time in the woods with my dog, time on the bike and playing hockey, tennis or pickleball ... or simply enjoying the company of family and good friends.
